Show some love for your local bricks and mortar store by celebrating Sew Saturday with us!

This year, our very exciting event takes place on Saturday 15th October and we can’t wait to see what great celebrations take place throughout the day. There will be a wide range of special events held up and down the country, along with star appearances from leading names in the industry, plus workshops, makes & takes, discounts and competitions - we can’t wait!

But it’s not too late to sign up! If you run a bricks and mortar sewing store and want to take part in this fantastic event, email saturday@sewmag.co.uk for more information and your introductory starter pack, which includes projects you can download for makes & takes, such as Buttons the mascot.

New to 2016! Our Flagship stores are here to offer advice on making the day a success, as well as a selection of tasty recipes that you can make for your attendees! This year sees the return of sewing ambassadors May Martin, Stuart Hillard and Lauren Guthrie, plus The Great British Sewing Bee series three winner, Matt Chapple and The Fold Line’s Kate Underdown.

Kate is very excited about the event, “Sew Saturday brings the sewing community together to host a special day celebrating the best independent businesses with amazing workshops and fun events.”
