ATTENTION ALL STITCHERS - THE GREAT BRITISH SEWING BEE IS BACK FOR CHRISTMAS!
Did somebody say “Christmas come early”? - well, it certainly feels that way! Lighting up our screens this festive season will be a series of glorious Christmas specials from The Great British Sewing Bee. What a fantastic present to the crafting community!
It is rumoured that each episode with see the fantastic Joe Lycett welcoming four celebrity guests to the world of crafts. Strictly fans will be thrilled to learn that judge Shirley Ballas is tipped to be appearing in the first episode, alongside comedian Sara Pascoe, actress and West End star Denise Van Outen and TV personality Dr Ranj Singh.
It has also been rumoured that the first challenge will see the celebrities putting their stitching skills to the test as they try to make a pair of pyjama bottoms to wear on Christmas morning. Apparently, they will then tackle the transformation task - treating a pampered pooch to a special new outfit. Finally, it has been suggested that the four celebrities will finish up the episode by creating a dress that can be worn on December 25th.
Will Shirley’s makes be worthy of a ten? Will Sarah have us in stitches or surprise us with her talents? Will Ranj’s projects be just what the doctor ordered? And will Denise be taking center stage? We might have a while to wait, but it certainly is exciting to think about!
