About this pattern

Download our sewing pattern and create a colourful fruit display.

A patchwork apple (or pear) a day keeps the scrap piles away—though one a day might be a bit much! This project is perfect for using up fabric bits that would otherwise collect dust in a drawer. Share them with children for greengrocer games, and they’ll stay looking fresh forever. Alternatively, fill them with lavender to make pretty drawer fresheners or a useful pincushion. Whichever option you choose, it’s bound to be a fruitful endeavor.

Essentials

  • Wool felt: teal, lilac, yellow, orange, light peach, dark peach, pink, bright green, mid green
  • Water-soluble fabric pen
  • Velvet ribbon
