Cutting guide
One 16½” x 16½” square from fabric A
One 1½” x 25” strip from fabric B
One 1½ x 14” strip from fabric B
One 1½ x 5” strip from fabric B
One 1½ x 23” strip from fabric C
One 1½ x 13” strip from fabric C
One 1½ x 4” strip from fabric C
One 1½ x 18” strip from fabric D
One 1½ x 9” strip from fabric D
One 1½ x 16” strip from fabric E
One 1½ x 5” strip from fabric E

Sew all rights sides together with ¼”seam allowance.

Step 1

1 Cut out all of the pieces as indicated above. Take the 25” x 1½” strip of fabric B and place the 1½ x 23” strip of fabric C next to it centrally. Sew and press open. Continue with this sequence until the smallest strip is sewn to the unit.

Step 2

2 Once all the pieces are sewn together, place over the 16½ x 16½ square of fabric A.

Step 3

3 Take the 16½” x 16½” square of fabric A and draw a diagonal line. Place this unit with the cut strips and then sew together.

4 To make a envelope back for your pillow, cut two 11” x 16” rectangles from the script print (FUS-J-301). Fold one 11” side on each rectangle in by 1/2”, press, then fold another 1/2” and press. Topstitch as close to the edge as possible.

5 Place the rectangles right sides together on top of each other to the front of your pillow and stitch around with a ¼” seam allowance. Clip the corners at the seam allowance and flip piece to the right side of the fabric. Fill with a 16” x 16” pillow.
