The Atelier 5 is the latest computerised sewing machine from Janome and is sure to open up a realm of possibilities. It’s designed to meet every sewing challenge and is so versatile that it has three optional kits available, one for dressmaking, one for quilting and one for home furnishings. The long arm, wide sewing space and knee lifter make it great for sewing large projects such as quilts or curtains. The top cover is home to the stitch selection panel where 170 stitches including 10 buttonholes and an alphabet are on offer. The handsome model offers a high resolution touch screen, an auto thread cutter and lock feature, start/stop button, plus a handy built-in needle threader. Adjustable foot pressure is ideal for sewing different fabric thicknesses and the maximum speed controller will ensure your stitching doesn’t run away from you.
