    1. Secure a piece of fabric into the embroidery hoop. On the right side of the fabric, draw around the template supplied with the 29mm button kit (see Sew smart tip), making sure that a flower design is centred within the template. Prepare a beading needle by pushing on one aqua seed bead. Stitch onto the fabric in the centre of the circular template. Repeat to form a circle of beads. Fill remaining area with gems stitched on randomly. Cut out the beaded circle and fit it over the coverable button, following the manufacturer’s instructions.

    2. To create beaded loops around the edge of the buttons; thread a beading needle with knotted cotton and pass it through the fabric so that it is secured at the back of the button. Thread nine aqua beads onto the needle and bring it back through the fabric, 3mm along, to create a small stitch. The beads will form a loop on the outer edge of the work. Repeat until the whole edge is covered.

      1. Create another line of beaded loops by repeating the process with the green beads, threading 14 onto each loop and working behind the aqua row (see picture).
    3. Select different sections of the fabric and cover both the 19mm buttons and the 11mm ones. Cut the metal shank from the back of each of these buttons with wire cutters.

      1. Take a 33cm length of organza ribbon, and secure both ends by attaching a ribbon finding to each raw edge. Clip an extension chain on one side and a clasp on the other. Lay the ribbon flat and arrange the embellished buttons on top, using pictures as a guide. Glue into place and leave to dry completely. Cut
