When adding the base to the body, place the first pin at the seam and label this 12 o’clock. Place the next pin at 6 o’clock, then 9 o’clock and 3 o’clock. Put an extra pin between each of the first four pins, then tack and remove the pins. This will ensure an evenly placed base.
