As you delve into our dressmaking projects, we’re sure you’re building up quite an impressive stash of leftover scraps, so here’s a good opportunity to put them to good use! Corinne Bradd’s creative fabric bracelet design gives you a chance to blend and recycle some of your favourite shades and also show off some of your embroidery skills. It’s easily customisable, and comes with a discreet snap fastening so you can pop your cuff off and on for instant colour cool.

Essentials

  • Fabric, patterned scraps
  • Lightweight fusible interfacing
  • Felt scraps
  • Embroidery threads, three or four colours
  • Snap fasteners

    1. Cut an assortment of fabric scraps into narrow rectangles with the long sides measuring 7cm. Arrange on a flat surface to check the mix of colours. Sew pairs of fabric strips, right sides together, to build one length measuring 23cm long. Press all the seams in one direction.
