Treat your tot to flower fairy fun with our Petal Skirt If your little one is longing to play flower fairy dress-up, they are sure to be won over by this swish-me skirt from Chloe Hailwood. A speedy project that is suited to confident beginners, this skirt is reversible, so it will be quick and easy for your child to switch up their ensemble. Chloe has used a classic Liberty print for one side of the skirt and a plain cotton for the other, but feel free to experiment with fabric combinations.
Download and print the templates. Cut out six large and six small petals in floral fabric, and another six large and six small in the plain fabric. With right sides facing, stitch two same sized petals, one floral and one plain, together. Leave a 4-5cm gap for turning through, then position this gap along a straight edge running down the side of a petal, where it will be easiest to neatly hand stitch the gap closed. Repeat for all pet
