Give your favourite vintage fabrics a home in one of Corinne Bradd’s homely table accessories, and you’ll enjoy seeing them every time you settle down with a cuppa. We’re loving these 1930s-inspired floral prints, but any cotton fabric will do. Simply make up the lightly padded fabric middles first before crocheting around the edge. The rounds won’t take long and then you can kick back with a selection of biscuits!
Make a fabric centre
Cut an 11cm circle from patterned and plain fabrics. Pin right side tog onto wadding. Sew through all three layers, 5mm from the edge and leave a 4cm gap for turning. Trim the wadding close to the seam line, turn right side out and press.
