About this pattern

We’ve all experienced the frenzy that having to find a present at short notice can cause. So, to ensure you’re prepared for such circumstances, we’ve devised these simple, unisex designs that can be stitched in under an hour and tailored to the recipient’s taste.

Essentials

  • Fabric: cotton, plain, patterned, scraps
  • Sizzix Big Shot (655268)
  • Sizzix Dies: Butterflies and Rings (657009), Frame and Medallion (657013)
  • Fusible interfacing, lightweight
  • Glove leather, scraps
  • Embroidery thread
  • Crystal bicones, 4mm
  • Snap fasteners, 11mm
  • Fasteners setting tool
  • Hammer

    Stitch a wristband

    1. Cut a piece of 4cm wide interfacing to a length that will wrap comfortably around your wrist with a 2cm overlap – our sample is 19cm long. Trim a strip of plain fabric and another of patterned, adding 2cm to the width and length.

    2. Fuse the interfacing to the centre back of the plain fabric with a hot iron. Fold the material over the sides of the interfacing, mitring the corners and press.
