Sew a Triceratops
Download and print the templates from sewmag.co.uk. Cut out one complete triceratops head from paper. Use the paper template to snip out one head from taupe felt. Cut out the nose section from the paper template and use it to snip one nose piece from green felt, complete with two nostril holes. Cut out the three horns from the paper template and use them to make three horns from white felt. Secure the nose and horns in place on the taupe face using an acid free glue stick.
Mark the placement of the eyes on the taupe felt using a water dissolvable pen. Carefully snip out the eyes. Place the mask front onto a piece of heavyweight interfacing, draw around it, then trim the interfacing 5mm smaller all the way around. Mark the eyes, then cut them out of the interfacing. Use the glue stick to stick the interfacing on to the back of the felt mask, then allow it to dry.
Machine stitch using a dark thread around the edges of the horns, nose and nostrils, approximately 2mm in from the edge. Using orange, dark purple and blue felt, snip out the circles and stitch in place using contrasting thread
